FAQs

Do I need a fishing license?

No. The boat is fully licensed and all passengers are covered with the daily fare.

Should I bring fishing gear?

We recommend bringing a 7’ MH spinning rod, a 4000-5000 series reel with 30-50lb braided line. If needed, we have rods and reels available for rent. All gear that may be needed during our trip, we will have for sale on board. If you’d like to get tackle before you reach the boat, give us a call to see what is working best at that time. Our crew does this every day, they will be able to rig you up to give you the best chance to catch fish.

What do I need to bring?

Dress appropriately. Expect it to be 10-15 degrees cooler on the water than it is on land. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and appropriate footwear like rubber boots are suggested. You’re more than welcome to bring any food or drinks you’d like, but we do have a full galley aboard with food and drinks available for purchase.

Is alcohol allowed?

Beer is allowed in moderation, but no hard alcohol will be allowed on board. We have a zero tolerance policy with drunk or intoxicated passengers. We are a family friendly vessel, and it will remain that way.

What is the boat’s drug policy?

We are a 100% drug free vessel. No illegal drugs are allowed on board. We are a federally regulated vessel. NO EXCEPTIONS!
